Research Article Submission Guidelines
Andalas International Nursing Conference 2017 (AINiC 2017) will receive submissions on Nursing in various disciplines, Nursing Education, Public Health and not limited to other healthcare focus topic of Original Research Articles. Take a time to read through the Article submission guideline for Authors and prepare your manuscript according to the guidelines; structure your manuscript . Manuscripts that do not follow the research article writing guideline may be returned to the authors for revision. Submissions must be an original contribution, and the authors must guarantee that the content has not been previously published and is not considered for publication elsewhere.
Conference Research Scope
AINiC 2017 will receive research article submission of nursing from various disciplines, nursing education, public health, and not limited to other healthcare disciplines, conference topics based on this following field:

- Gerontology
- Mental Health
- Family Health
- Community health/ Public Health
- Clinical sciences
- Health management and policy
- Nursing Education (IPE, Teaching Strategy, Curriculum Development, Student Competency)
Cover Letter and Ethical Consideration
Papers which are accepted for publication in the proceeding has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. This must be stated in the cover letter, which should be uploaded with the manuscript. Authors must also state that the research project has been passed by a suitably constituted Ethics Committee of the institution within which the work was undertaken.
Manuscript Development
File formats
Accepted files formats are Microsoft Word and RTF. All submissions must be in English (International) . A4 paper size, portrait orientation, two columns (except the abstract). Use line spacing of 1.5 (except the abstract) and Times New Roman, size 12 as a font. Tables and figures should be inserted in the main text. Word limit to 3500 words
Title page
On the title page, you should mention the title of the manuscript, list all authors' names in full. Each authors' affiliation should be numbered in superscript consecutively and listed underneath, including department, institution, city and country. The email addresses of all authors should be mentioned too.
Abstract
The Abstract should not exceed 250 words and should be structured according to the headingsconsist of introduction, methods, results, discussion and conclusions. A list of three to six keywords should be provided.
Article sections
Introduction
The Introduction section should introduce the topic and must clearly outline the research gap and current state of knowledge in this field and the aim of the study or the article..
Methods
The Methods section should include all information necessary to prove the study, in particular, the study design, how data was collected and analyzed, clarifying the choice of methods that were made. If applicable, you should describe the setting of the study, the dates the study were conducted, and the sample or participants, as well as necessary power calculations and materials, including statistical packages, used. Interventions and programmes should be described in detail.
Results
This section should include only data and findings from the study. Presentation of statistical results should mention confidence intervals and levels of significance where appropriate. Quotes from qualitative study participants of less than three lines should be quoted in the text using quotation marks. For quotes longer than three lines, place the quote in a separate, indented paragraph and introduce it with a colon. No quotation marks are needed in this case. Details of the participant can be added in round brackets following the quote, but should not contain identifiable information to ensure confidentiality.
Discussion
In the Discussion section, you should discuss your main findings and place these within the context of the current body of knowledge in the field. Limitation can be explained and discussed in this section.
Conclusions
In your Conclusions section, state your key messages from the study and explain their importance and relevance, as well as implications. Future studies and recommendations can be included in this section. The conclusions drawn must be strictly to the poin based on the study.
References
The references should be arranged using harvard referencing style with mendeley reference program.
Oral Presentation
All article submissions if accepted have an option to present their study in formal presentation provided by the conference.
Poster Presentation
All the submissions if accepted also have an option to present their study by poster presentation at the conference. Poster should be submitted to the committee by using poster's paper, size 70 x 100 cm. Participant should sent the poster draft to the commite to get approval. The poster that will be sent should follow these following guidelines: a) it must be submitted in English and must be presented in English; b) the presenting author’s name must be underline and all author affiliation must be included; c) main article in the poster should consist of : 1) Abstract, 2) Intoduction, 3) Method, 4) Result, 5) Conclusion, 6) and Acknowledgment.
Acceptance
The acceptance criteria for all papers are depend on the quality and originality of the research and its significance to our readership. Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer reviewed by two anonymous Reviewers and the Editors. The Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse any material for publication in proceeding, oral presentation, and poster presentation. All articles submitted to the committee must comply with the instructions. Failure to do so will result in return of the manuscript. Manuscripts should be written so that they are intelligible to the professional reader who is not a specialist in the particular field. Where contributions are judged as acceptable for publication on the basis of content, the Editor or the Publisher reserve the right to modify typescripts to eliminate ambiguity and repetition and improve communication between author and reader. If extensive alterations are required, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.
